1.Expectations of our suppliers
In the car washing and coating services provided by KeePer, a number of parties are involved before the service is provided to the customer.
In order to continue to be accepted by the community and stakeholders over the long term, and to conduct our business activities in an appropriate and sincere manner, we will implement initiatives in unison with our supply chain. We would like to inform our suppliers of KeePer's basic philosophy and expect their agreement, understanding, and implementation of the following items.
<Environment>
i. Environmental Conservation
We understand the importance of environmental preservation and comply with the environmental laws and regulations of each country and region.
ii. Responding to Climate Change
We will promote reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to prevent global warming and achieve carbon neutrality. We will set targets for energy efficiency improvement, etc., and reduce the impact of CO2/GHG emissions from our business activities on climate change.
iii. Water use
To conserve water resources, we strive to reduce water consumption through efficient use and recycling.
iv. Biodiversity Conservation
Store development and material procurement are highly dependent on ecosystems. We are committed to preserving biodiversity through the management of chemical substances that impact the environment.
V. Prevention of environmental pollution
We prevent environmental pollution caused by chemicals, oil, and other substances and minimize their impact. We also reduce air pollutant emissions, and reduce and properly dispose of hazardous waste and wastewater.
VI. Waste reduction and effective use of resources
We will manage resources appropriately, promote the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle), reduce waste emissions, and conserve/use resources efficiently.
<Human Rights and Human Resources>
i. Prohibition of child labor
We do not employ child subjects who are under the minimum working age, nor do we allow them to work in a manner that impairs their development.
ii. Prohibition of forced labor
We employ all employees at their own free will and do not force them to work.
iii. Prohibition of discrimination and unfair treatment
We respect basic human rights, personality, individuality, and diversity, and prohibit all discrimination, harassment, and unfair treatment in the workplace on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation/identity, age, religion, place of origin, disability, or physical characteristics, including in employment management and treatment.
iv. Provide a safe, hygienic and healthy working environment
We will strive to establish, maintain, and improve a safe, hygienic, and healthy work environment, and through active communication and cooperation, establish a system to prevent occupational accidents and incidents, and maintain and improve management capabilities. We will also create an atmosphere conducive to reporting occupational accidents and incidents and raise awareness, without overlooking any hidden work-related accidents.
V. Respect employees' freedom of association and collective bargaining rights
We respect the freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining for our employees in accordance with local labor laws. We will allow the effective exercise of these rights.
VI. Appropriate management of working hours
Reduce excessive working hours by properly managing employee working hours, holidays, and vacations.
VII. Payment of appropriate wages
We will endeavor to pay our employees at least the legal minimum wage and at least a living wage.
<Compliance and Anti-Corruption>
i. Compliance with laws and regulations and sensible behavior
We will act with integrity and good sense, complying with all applicable laws and regulations and their spirit, fair and appropriate business activities, and international rules and social norms concerning the environment and human rights in the countries and regions where we conduct business activities.
ii. Ensure fair and proper transactions and prevention of corruption
We will conduct fair and proper business transactions and ensure the prevention of all forms of corrupt practices, including extortion, bribery, and the offering or receipt of benefits that are out of line with social norms.
iii. Cutting off relations with antisocial forces
We shall sever all relationships with antisocial forces and take appropriate measures to ensure this.
<Ensuring quality>
We will establish and maintain a system to ensure the required quality, and promote technological development and improvement activities to maintain and improve quality. In the event of a quality accident or other incident, we will promptly report it and take appropriate action.
<Ensuring Information Security>
We will comply with rules for the appropriate handling and management of personal information and confidential information, and establish and maintain a protection system against information security incidents such as information leakage, loss, theft, and computer virus infection. In the event of an information security incident, we will promptly report the incident and take appropriate action.
<Response to disasters and other unforeseen circumstances>
We will work to build and maintain a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) system by conducting education and training that emphasizes our company's roles and actions in preparation for disasters and other unforeseen circumstances at ordinary times. We will also actively cooperate in disaster recovery efforts in the event of a disaster.
2.Monitoring
In order to monitor compliance with the guidelines, we will deepen communication with suppliers and conduct periodic surveys of suppliers.
When deemed necessary, we visit suppliers to check their activities and provide on-site guidance, referring to audit items prepared based on advice from external experts.
3.response to noncompliance
In the event that a case of violation of the guidelines is identified, we will request the supplier in question to take corrective measures and, if necessary, provide guidance and support to the supplier to investigate the cause and prevent recurrence.
If it is deemed difficult to correct the situation even after continuous guidance and support, we will review our business with the supplier in question.
