KeePer regards the solution of environmental problems as one of the most important management issues and promotes environmental conservation through its business activities, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable society. Environmental issues are becoming more serious every day, and we will approach various themes such as the promotion of carbon neutrality to mitigate climate change, efficient use of natural resources such as water and energy, and preservation of biodiversity.
In particular, KeePer recognizes that climate change countermeasures are an important issue for the world as a whole.

KeePer is committed to providing products and services that reduce negative environmental impact in all processes from product development, procurement, distribution, use, and disposal, and has established the following environmental policy.
The Environmental Policy stipulates that we will comply with international declarations, conventions, treaties, and the laws and regulations of the countries and regions in which we operate, as well as the following five policies. The Board of Directors has adopted a resolution for the formulation of this Environmental Policy.

【Environmental Policy】

1. We will promote the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in order to achieve carbon neutrality to mitigate climate change. To this end, we will set our own targets for energy efficiency and usage, and work on plans to achieve them. We will also develop products and services that contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation.

2. Reduce water consumption through efficient use and recycling to conserve water resources.

3. In order to conserve biodiversity, we will thoroughly control chemical substances that impact the environment and prevent environmental pollution. We will also minimize the release of soil pollutants, air pollutants, hazardous waste, and wastewater, and dispose of them appropriately.

4. We will reduce the use of natural resources such as water, fossil fuels, minerals, and native forest products through manufacturing, substitution, reuse, conservation, recycling, and other means.

5. In the proper management of resources, we will promote the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and ensure the reduction of waste emissions, conservation and efficient use of resources.

■ Scope of application
This policy applies to all employees and officers of KeePer.
We also expect all business partners related to our products and services to act in accordance with this policy.

■ Disclosure
We will periodically examine the implementation of this policy and make improvements as necessary. We will also disclose appropriate information regarding the status of our environmental initiatives based on this policy.

■ Promotion Structure
The Board of Directors serves as the oversight body for environmental matters, including climate change.
In addition, the Sustainability Committee meets in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors makes the final decision on matters that are brought to the Committee's attention.
The Board of Directors monitors progress toward goals related to climate change and other issues and is responsible for overseeing progress on goals.
